RESOURCES

The WV Forest Farming Initiative works to help grow forest farmers.  Get started right or expand your operation with technical assistance, workshops, and more.  Mini-grants are available to help with start-up, expansion, and certification costs for West Virginia residents.

CATALYZING AGROFORESTRY GRANT PROGRAM

The Appalachian Beginning Forest Farming Coalition (ABFFC) and Edwards Mother Earth Foundation (EMEF) are accepting applications for the Catalyzing Agroforestry Grant Program, offering direct financial support and technical assistance to forest farmers.  Funding is awarded on a rolling basis, with the first round of applications being reviewed in July 2022.
